Ukholo Health worx Occupational services specializing in rendering occupational health services to various companies in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act No 85 of 1993, was founded in 2016 and is 100% owned by a Black Female registered nurse and have recently partnered strategically with Ackermed Medical Consultation rooms & Ackermans Pharmacy.

• Fitness Medicals – pre-employment, periodic, exit, post-injury on duty
• Pulmonary Function testing – Spirometry according to SANS 451:2008.
• Audiometry Screening according to SANS 10083:2004, for employees exposed to noise above 85 dB.
• Height, Weight, Blood Pressure and Urine Analysis.
• Physical Examination.
• Vision screening (Snellen Eye Test).
• Special Titmus vision test (colour, depth perception, peripheral vision and visual acuity) Can be performed on drivers and operators of heavy machinery.

• Food Handler Medicals – so as to ensure safety and reduce risks of contamination.
• Biological Monitoring for Hazardous Chemical Exposure.
• Assistance with design and implementation of a Health Surveillance program.
• The medical surveillance programs will be risk based and will comply with legal requirements.
• Keystone Eye Testing and also Working at Heights Assessment
• Chest X-rays
• Relevant Bloodwork.
• Various Questionnaires to establish Fitness for the appointment

Vaccinate your baby against infectious diseases at our Baby & Wellness Clinic. Our qualified Sisters also conduct developmental assessments and provide advice to new Mothers on breast feeding and nutrition.
